The second "Centers and Educational Materials Exhibition in Early Childhood Education," prepared by second-year students of our Vocational School's Child Development Program under the coordination of Dr. Semih UÇAR as part of the "Developing Tools in Education" course, was held. Approximately 300 materials prepared by students for use in early childhood education were presented to visitors at the exhibition, the first of which was held last year.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Semih Uçar stated that a large number of Child Development Program students have the potential to work in the field of early childhood education after graduation, emphasizing the importance of students acquiring the necessary skills and competencies before starting their professional lives.
As part of the event, which was organized to provide students with detailed information about the learning centers in preschool education classrooms, each student was asked to prepare materials for a designated center and report on their work. Dr. UÇAR stated that this practice would help students make more qualified contributions to children in the educational environments where they will work in the future.
The second exhibition of materials was opened by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİCAN, our General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salih GÜLEN, visited the symposium held in Malazgirt, along with academics and invited representatives from various institutions. The guests showed great interest in the students, learned about the prepared materials, and examined the work in detail.
