The graduation ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year was held at our Vocational School.
The ceremony, held in the Malazgirt KYK Conference Hall, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, our General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salih Gülen, our Rector's Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, academic and administrative staff, students, and their families.
Speaking at the opening of the programs, our Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Hasan Furkan Kaplan congratulated the graduating students and expressed his belief that the students, who successfully completed their education, would continue on their paths with the same determination and resolve in their new lives.
Addressing the students and their families at the ceremonies, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican stated that graduation is not an end, but a harbinger of new beginnings, emphasizing that students should carry the knowledge, experience, and values they gained during their university years to every aspect of their lives. Advising young people to never deviate from the principles of justice, honesty, responsibility, and diligence, Alican stated that the future of the country would rise on the shoulders of well-educated, equipped, and morally upright young people.
Following the speeches, plaques and certificates of achievement were presented to students who achieved top grades at the school and department levels. Students, who received their awards from protocol members and academics, celebrated their graduation with their families.
The programs, which saw a large turnout, were filled with emotional moments as students shared the pride of graduation with their academics and families. The ceremonies concluded with the graduating students joyfully throwing their caps into the air and taking commemorative photographs.
