Our Vocational School Child Development Program second-year students organized a “Material Exhibition for Learning Centers in Preschool Education” within the scope of the “Developing Tools in Education” course conducted by Dr. Lecturer Semih UÇAR. 312 materials were exhibited in the exhibition where students exhibited different activities they carried out for use in early childhood education.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Lecturer Semih UÇAR said that most of the Child Development Program students have the potential to become preschool teachers as a profession when they continue their education and therefore students who will teach in preschool education need to gain certain qualifications before going into the field and teaching children. Therefore, since students need to be informed in detail about the centers in preschool education classes and they need to know what the materials required for these centers are and how they are made, each student was asked to make a material related to a center and report on it. Dr. Lecturer Uçar stated that “In this way, the student can be more useful to children in the educational environment they will go to.”
